My practice has the capability to offer secure and HIPAA-compliant telepsychology (video) sessions to patients when needed, through a platform called TSecureVideo. Both via computer or smartphone, TSecureVideo utilizes a special HIPAA-compliant version of Zoom, developed for Therasoftonline. See below for instructions on accessing video sessions on your computer or smartphone:
VIA COMPUTER
- Your computer must have a camera on or in it. (All laptops contain cameras.)
- You must enable your camera and microphone on your computer via Settings.
- Video sessions work best using the Chrome browser. Please download and utilize Chrome if you don’t already have it.
- I will email you an online session reminder with information about the video session.
- At the time of your session, open the reminder email and click on the Login button to start your session.
- Please ensure that you have privacy in your home or office to protect your confidentiality.
- Please note that video sessions may not work on some workplace computers.
- You can test whether this is working properly by clicking the Login button in your email any time before the start of your session. You should see yourself only on the screen (if I am not logged on at the same time).
VIA SMARTPHONE
- Download the free app, myTherapist (by Therasoft) from iTunes or Google Play. The correct myTherapist is represented by a blue and black Psi (Greek letter) with a white background. See picture on the following page for the Login screen.
- I will send you a 4 digit pin to login, which is usually the last 4 digits of your insurance ID number. You can also click Request Pin from the app.
- Register with your last name, date of birth, and 4 digit pin.
- If a video session is scheduled for you, it will appear when you login.
- Accept this video session for the agreed upon date and time.
- At the time of your session, click the camera icon in the lower left screen to begin the session.
- Please ensure that you have privacy in your home or office to protect your confidentiality.
- You can test whether this is working properly by clicking the camera icon any time before the start of your session. You should see yourself only on the screen (if I am not logged on at the same time).

Via Client Portal
You will receive an email telling you how to get to the portal.
Here is the link for the Client portal just in case you are not able to find the link.

You will then be required to enter
1. Last name
2. Date of Birth
3. 4 digit pin
Once in the client portal you will be on the calendar
You will click the video camera icon
Then make sure to enable the video and microphone.
Please call our office if you have any other questions. Please understand your therapist may be a few minutes late wrapping up with previous client. If you see, "WAITING ON HOST TO START", you are in the right place and Ms. Eells will be there momentarily.
